Hi, I'm Patty.
Your local soap maker here in lexington.
Here's how it started.
Rolling Hills Goat Milk Soap started in October 2025 as a simple curiosity—just a fun hobby I wanted to try. I’ve always loved the idea of creating something by hand, and soapmaking felt like the perfect place to start. What began as a small experiment quickly turned into something I genuinely enjoyed, from choosing ingredients to watching each batch come together.
Before I knew it, this little hobby started to grow into something more. Friends and family began asking for bars, then more people discovered it, and it just kept building from there. What started as “just for fun” naturally turned into a small business rooted in simple, quality ingredients and a love for traditional soapmaking. I’m so grateful for how it’s grown and for everyone who has supported it along the way.
What goes into every bar.
What goes into every bar?
Each bar is made with simple, skin-loving ingredients chosen for their quality and purpose. We use fresh goat milk for its gentle, moisturizing properties, along with a blend of oils and traditional fats like lard to create a long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather.
Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using time-tested methods, focusing on ingredients that are both effective and easy to recognize. No unnecessary extras—just honest, well-made soap you can feel good about using.

We are making Castile Soap!
Castile soap is one of the oldest types of soap, traditionally made from olive oil. It’s known for being extra gentle, making it a great option for sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Unlike many soaps, Castile bars focus on simplicity—fewer ingredients, carefully chosen, and crafted to cleanse without stripping your skin. The result is a mild, nourishing bar with a soft, creamy lather.
